Mark Ruffalo Confirms Our Fears About Hulk In Civil War

In the litany of names that have been confirmed to be appearing in Captain America: Civil War, one has been conspicuously absent.  There was a giant question mark over Mark Ruffalo’s participation as The Hulk.  The last time audiences saw Hulk, he was flying off in a runaway plane with the tracking and communication controls turned off.  Whether or not we’d be seeing Hulk again — and when — has always been up in the air.

Now that primary filming has wrapped on Civil War, Ruffalo has spoken about his involvement — or lack thereof — in the movie.  In an interview (translated from Italian), he said:

The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie (Civil War). I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where is he and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon.

Ruffalo isn’t ruling out his Hulk appearing in later films, and I think fans would be upset if they thought they’d seen the last of him.  Where do you this his missing plane landed, and when will he next appear?  Let me know in the comments!
