Last week in an interview with Conan O’Brien, Mark Wahlberg declared that he was so “jealous” of One Direction that he wants to punch “that little prick” Harry Styles.
While Wahlberg certainly isn’t averse to violence, it doesn’t sound like Harry needs to take this threat too seriously. It turns out that Mark’s daughters are actually big fans of the group and he’s envious that they are able to draw their interest more than him shooting guns in movies.
“Now the girls have turned to One Direction, they don’t care about Dad anymore. My 4-year-old’s going, ‘Daddy, I like Harry.’ And I’m like, ‘Well, I’m gonna punch Harry in the nose when I see him,’” Wahlberg said.
In the interview he added that he was able to convince Michael Bay to let his kids make an appearance in Transformers 4 but that he wasn’t sure if they’d make the final cut. While he’s making a habit of calling in favors, he also stated that he would like to arrange for his daughters to meet One Direction soon.
