Earlier this month, the casts of both Marvel hit TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter broke the internet when they had a Dubsmash showdown during San Diego Comic Con. If you need to catch up on the story so far, you can do so by checking out our coverage on the subject here.
In a quick summary, Hayley Atwell, best known for her portrayal as Agent Carter in the Marvel Universe, was challenged to a lip syncing showdown by her fellow agents including the man himself, Clark Gregg a.k.a. Agent Coulson, utilizing the app Dubsmash.
We THOUGHT the war was over when the mic dropped with Gregg dressing up in Carter’s signature outfit and belting “We Are the Champions.” The dust had seemed to settle, but little did we know Atwell had an ace up her sleeve. See for yourself:

Yup. That is the Captain in the flesh tearing up a signed picture made out to his supposed biggest fan, Coulson. Ouch. That HAD to hurt! Coulson is the GLUE that brought the Avengers together! Talk about pulling out the big guns. The star-crossed lovers, of course, h

At this point we figured this was it. This was the end. Hayley takes the gold and once again proves, just like in the TV series, that NO ONE messes with a girl on a mission. That was, until yesterday…
The above Dubsmash was posted on Chloe Bennet’s Instagram, better known as Skye/Daisy Johnson in the Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. series. We see a crying Coulson, back in the Agent Carter digs and clearly brokenhearted and mourning. Could this be the end… are they giving up? Accepting defeat?
No way!
Sure enough,
we are teased with a sign – better seen in a tweet by Clark Gregg:
#dubsmashwar charity #deathmatch challenge is on! @HayleyAtwell #mrdarcy @ChloeBennet4 Details to follow… pic.twitter.com/bhxa2VC6q9

OF
COURSE
this wouldn’t be the end! A S.H.I.E.L.D
agent never gives up! It seems this time they are going for a “death match” challenge; winner to be decided by the fans! The best part? It will all be for charity.
Details are still to follow, but I have a feeling we are in for a real treat, and it is only going to get more hilarious
from here! I also think it is safe to say this amazing group of talented actors have left fans grinning from ear to ear. It is clear they are good friends off screen and just as kind and heroic as the characters they play.
Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
