Marvel Drops New Thor: The Dark World Blooper Reel In Anticipation Of Blu Ray Release

Recently, Marvel (via MTV) announced its latest release in a string of videos to build excitement for the DVD and Blu-ray release of Thor: The Dark World.

Kevin Feige, the Marvel Studios President, and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) hilariously stumble through an introduction of the gag reel.  Even in the one minute teaser there are many laughs to be had, including Thor (Chris Hemsworth) breaking his hammer – Mjölnir – then twirling it in the air like he just don’t care; Jane (Natalie Portman) making silly faces; Loki being flung backwards in the air; and what can only be described as Loki and Thor making the oddest, but sexiest, noises ever on the side of a mountain.

This is the fifth release of special features on the Thor: TDW DVD/Blu-ray.  Others include Loki as Captain America , two screen test images of Hiddleston auditioning for Thor, and a deleted scene between Thor and his mother, Frigga, where they discuss Loki.  Noticing a trend here–at least it’s a good one!

Thor: The Dark World releases on 3D and HD Blu-ray on February 4, while the standard definition Blu-ray and DVD will be released February 25.
