Marvel movies never fail to provide entertainment on screen, even when the main event is over.
Ever since Iron Man, fans of the Marvel films know they need to stick around for the hidden gem(s) known as the end credit scenes. These scenes usually provide insight into what is coming up in the universe but sometimes, like at the end of Guardians Of The Galaxy, these scenes are just entertaining.
If you haven’t seen Guardians yet stop reading now – there are spoilers ahead!
Alright, so if you’ve seen the film, you know that the loveable Groot sacrifices himself to save his partner and best friend Rocket as well as his new friends from certain death. In doing this, he ends up as twigs and there wasn’t a dry eye in the theater. Rocket takes one of those twigs and replants it, to grow back his companion.
Courtesy of sidewindervx (Tumblr)This leads up to the adorable end scene of Baby Groot dancing to the Jackson 5 classic “I Want You Back,” – one of the tracks off of the “Awesome Mix, Vol 2.” The best part is Baby Groot hiding his dancing skills from Drax, who’s in the background of the scene. Take a look at the scene below, if you just can’t get enough of the adorableness.
Now if someone wants to get me a dancing Baby Groot to sit on my desk I’d be forever grateful!
