Marvel Promotes ‘Ant-Man’ With Bug-Sized Billboards

With Marvel about to bring ‘Ant-Man’ to the world this coming summer, the company has now unleashed some ant-sized billboards to promote the film.

Marvel is continuing the “ant-sized” theme in its ad campaign for the forthcoming Ant-Man movie. The company has already released a super small poster and trailer in publicity stunts before unveiling the versions more suitable to the human eye.

Now the latest effort in the marketing campaign of microscopic proportions has popped up in the form of tiny billboards scattered around various locations in Australia. The billboards have been seen at bus stops and parks in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Queensland. Though miniature in size, the billboards pack a great deal of detail, even boasting battery powered LED lights for nighttime visibility.

Of course an item like this would be prime pickings for theft, so the billboards are firmly affixed to surfaces with strong adhesive. And even if anyone out there has the master thief skill level of Scott Lang himself, let’s hope he or she will still leave these pocket-size promotional wonders alone.

Ant-Man, starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, and Evangeline Lilly, shrinks to conquer in theaters starting July 17. Take a look at the tiny promotional billboards in all their glory below.
