Marvel has woven another thread into the gloriously intricate MCU tapestry! Marvel Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada has confirmed that the company’s upcoming The Defenders Netflix shows will be a part of the interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Quesada told Kevin Smith’s Fat man on Batman podcast that the shows “will exist within the cinematic universe again, so this is all the same world as S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Avengers.”
Quesada also revealed that the show will focus on more “noir, street level super heroes.”
The first show in the series, Daredevil, is scheduled to debut on Netflix next year.
