Well, after all of the scripted fights on the show, this should come as no surprise.
TLC couple Matt and Amy Roloff of ‘Little People, Big World’ fame, announced their separation back in March, and now have officially pulled the plug by filing for divorce.
The now former couple released a joint statement to US Weekly, saying:
“After 27 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce.”
“We are proud of what we have accomplished together, including raising four wonderful children who have grown to become remarkable adults and building our strong and ongoing successful business.”
The statement continued, addressing they had tried to put on a united front since son Jeremy’s wedding back in September, but could no longer hide the truth:
“Our kids and our ever growing family, and the love and support we have for them, will be our priority.”
“We will continue to work together side by side in the daily responsibilities for our many current ventures. We would like to thank our family, friends and all our fans for their continued support and understanding during this difficult time.”
Hopefully they can continue to follow what they’ve said in their statement, for the sake of the kids.
