Matt Smith made a beautiful and sweet thank you video for his Doctor Who cast, crew, friends, and mostly for his fans.
The video starts with Matt holding up a stack of papers with his message written on each page to the camera, dropping each sheet one at a time, not saying a word until the last page hits the sidewalk beneath him.
Then, he thanks show runner Steven Moffat, all of his past and current cast members and all of the crew, before giving the fans all of his thanks.
At the beginning of June, the BBC and Steven Moffat announced that Matt would be leaving the show and that his Doctor will be regenerating during this year’s Christmas special, and since then no word has been made about his replacement.
