Meet The Camp Counselors Of Wet Hot American Summer In New Promo Video

Netflix has just released a new promo feature of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp, which is an 8 episode prequel of comedy film Wet Hot American Summer.

After it’s release in 2001, the film was both a critical and commercial failure, but it eventually found its audience and has since then garnered a cult following.

The new feature plays like a throwback to a bygone era, looking like a badly edited home video, complete with old types of transitions and even a slight flicker on screen. It is made to look like an introduction video for the campers of the fictional Camp Firewood, which is where the series is set.

The stars of the original, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Elizabeth Banks, Joe Lo Truglio, Jason Schwartzman will all appear as their classic characters, check it out below:

All episodes of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp  will be available on Netflix on July 31.
