American Apparel Orders Second Run Of Successful ‘Meet The Queens’ T-Shirts

After launching a T-shirt collaboration with RuPaul’s Drag Race queens Alaska, Courtney Act, and Willam Belli, American Apparel quickly sold out of the limited edition collection featuring the three performance artists. The demand for the “Meet the Queens” T-shirts has been so great that the company has ordered a second printing, which is now available for pre-order.

Willam has also teamed up with Courtney and Alaska and released a song on iTunes to commemorate their business venture with the clothing line. Titled “American Apparel Ad Girls”, the tune was inspired by Capital Cities’ “Farrah Fawcett Hair”. The track is catchy and clever (can you name another song that shouts out Lupita Nyong’o?), and there’s plenty of eye candy to go around in its accompanying video.
