Melanie Griffith, known for her two episode stint as Tamara Collins on Raising Hope, has officially joined the Hawaii Five-0 cast as Danny ‘Danno’ Williams’ mom in the show’s fourth season.
CBS released this casting information on their official Twitter account on August 21st.
There were no other details about her character or how long she will be staying on the show.
Christine Lahti, known for her role as Dr. Kathryn Austin in Chicago Hope, joined the series in season three as a recurring guest spot, playing Doris McGarrett, the mother to Danny’s partner Steve. Let’s hope that the two of them get to have the chance to meet each other in the upcoming season.
Hawaii Five-0 comes back on September 27th at 9PM on CBS.
