Metallica Through The Never is a concert movie unlike any before it, and one could safely assume unlike any that will come after it. The IMAX-3D feature comes to us from award-winning filmmaker Nimród Antal (Predators, Kontroll) and is a mixture of concert footage interwoven with a fictional storyline.

Up and coming young actor, Dane HeHaan plays Trip, a lowly roadie sent on an important mission during one of the band’s shows. Footage of the band in concert, which was actually performed especially for the film, features alongside Trip’s mission as he is sent from the arena to meet a broken-down delivery truck and recover a mysterious item that is being transported to the show.

There has been two teaser trailers released already, but earlier today the band’s YouTube channel uploaded a third. The first trailer is set to the band’s song “Wherever I May Roam”, the second to “Cyanide” and today’s release, features the groups first Top 40 hit, “One”
