Going from serial killer to killer heels, Michael C. Hall is set to be the next actor to star in the highly acclaimed revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

The role in the revival was originally played by Neil Patrick Harris, who won a Tony for his tour de force performance as the titular rock diva. The role is currently being played by Girls and Book of Mormon star Andrew Rannells, and he will be replaced by Hall in October, who will carry on the role until early January.

Hall is no stranger to Broadway, having acted in The Realistic Joneses last season and previously in Cabaret and Chicago over a decade ago.

Hall will don the wig and high heels starting on October 16th.
