He’s already embroiled in one law suit against the Jackson estate for damages due to alleged sexual molestation by the late Michael Jackson, and now choreographer, Wade Robson, is threatening legal action against the singer’s father, Joe Jackson.
TMZ is reporting that Robson directed his lawyers to send Jackson a cease and desist letter, which went out on 25 May. The letter accuses Jackson of slandering Robson and warns him to “stop dragging Wade’s name through the mud”. What appears to be the catalyst for the letter is a video TMZ posted featuring Jackson. In the video (see below), Jackson is seen stating that not only was Robson lying about the sexual abuse allegations against his son, but that he was being paid to lie as part of some giant conspiracy.

The letter to Jackson from Robson’s lawyers hits back at these claims, writing, “Your statement is particularly reprehensible in light of the fact that [Robson] has only recently been able to come forward which is so typically characteristic and tragic for so many survivors of sexual abuse… Any trier of fact would conclude your statement was malicious, intended to further injure our client”.
Robson’s legal case concerning the sexual abuse allegations is still pending, but it certainly appears that this won’t be the last time we hear from either party in relation to it.
