Attention Cabaret fans: the Gods of Broadway have some gifts for you.

The first gift is Michelle Williams. The Roundabout Theatre Company announced that the Brokeback Mountain actresswill star in the revival of John Kander and Fred Ebb’s popular musical, Cabaret.

Williams replaces Emma Stone in the musical, who withdrew due to scheduling conflicts. She will play the iconic Sally Bowles, who was most famously portrayed by Liza Minnelli.

The show is a redo of the 1998 revival that landed Alan Cumming a TONY for best Actor; who just happens to be your second gift. Cumming will reprise his role as Emcee, bringing back the ghoulish character we know and love.

Mendes and Marshall also return as directors, with Marshall doubling as a choreographer.

The original play opened in 1966, and lead to a successful film adaptation in 1972, which won eight Oscars.

Previews begin March 21, 2014. Opening night is April 24 at the Roundabout Studio 54 theatre on Broadway.
