Mighty Morphin WTF Rangers Film: Not Safe for Childhood

If you were a fan of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as a kid, you’ll be fascinated by this fan-film created in its honor.

Take your nostalgia for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, imagine it as Quentin Tarantino might, throw in some staggering realism about soldiers/warfare, and I give you this glorious short fan-film from director Joseph Kahn and producer Adi Shankar.

Kahn and Shankar decided to answer the age old question of, “What ever happened to the Power Rangers?” They didn’t use Wikipedia to find out who might’ve been a porn star, died in a car accident, MMA fighter, folk singer, arrested for murder, and gay. Nope. Instead, James Van Der Beek leads the film as Rocky the Second Red Ranger (who betrayed the gang after the war was over) with a chained-up Katee Sackhoff as the Pink Ranger. That’s it. That’s all the lead-in you get. The NSFW version is not working on Vimeo currently, however when it is, the link will be made available. I’m quite anxious as there is more violence and sex, apparently.

In the mean time partake in the totally enjoyable “Holy-crap-my-childhood-grew-up-fucking-crazy” SFW version that will leave you wondering, “What was in the NSFW one?!”
