Another Glee alum is finding some fame outside of McKinley High!
Harry Shum Jr., who played Mike Chang for the first three seasons of Glee, has been cast in a supernatural thriller film. The film, entitled Fire City: The Interpreter of Signs, is directed by Tom Woodruff Jr., who won an Academy Award in 1993 for his special effects work on the cult Meryl Streep/Goldie Hawn comedy horror, Death Becomes Her. The film is a sequel to last year’s film Fire City: King of Miseries.
Harry will be playing an alcoholic who abuses his girlfriend, but suddenly turns into a sweet and loving boyfriend. The demons, who reside in the building, feed off misery, so they need to find new ways to get their “food.”
The film was funded by a Kickstarter campaign last year, and will go into production very soon.
