If we were to ask Alicia Keys her thoughts on Miley Cyrus right now, she would most likely say that “that girl is on fiiiiiiyaaaaaaah!” …You’re welcome.
Despite the fact that that reference was horribly amazing, Miley really does seem to be on fire right now. She has already been named number one on Maxim’s Hot 100 for the year beating out Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Mila Kunis and Jennifer Lawrence, who are also in the top five. Number one is quite the jump on the hot list since last year she appeared at number 68.
That’s not the only jump she’s taken. More recently, Miley has had her new single We Can’t Stop jump from 27 to number five on the US Hot 100 chart. With that jump, that makes this song her sixth Top 10 Single in the United States.
The official music video for We Can’t Stop was released last week. I believe with that and the fact that Miley seems to really be nailing this whole grown-up edgy singer thing, she’ll be hitting that number one spot on the charts in the coming weeks!
