Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has revealed that she is not worried what her fans think of her new image.
She told The Sun: ”I’m not really worried about alienating fans. Everyone has to work on the things that they don’t care about to get where they want to be. I had to do that for five years but I knew when I was older I would be able to do what I wanted eventually.”
The singer also spoke about the controversial lyrics from her song “We Can’t Stop.” Specifically one lyric that sounds like ”dancing with Molly” (Molly is slang for the narcotic ecstasy , although her producer has said the lyric is “dancing with Miley.”
Miley said: “It depends who’s doing what. If you’re aged 10 it’s “Miley”; if you know what I’m talking about then you know. I just wanted it to be played on the radio and they’ve already had to edit it so much.”
The video for “We Can’t Stop” has broken a record for most views, having 10 million in 24 hours. Cyrus said, “the world is in such a f**ked-up place that the last thing we should be worrying about is my cute little video.”
