Miley Cyrus just keeps on giving the gift that should’ve ceased a long time ago.
The twenty-one-year-old singer released the video to her new single “Adore You” yesterday and, despite the nearly ten million plus viewer count, the video has nothing to do with the song. However, it caps off the already wild year Cyrus has had this year. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? That’s up to you to decide.
Either way you look at it, it’s hard to get away from a clothe-less Cyrus in this video which is a shame.
The song is a beautiful look at loving someone and how you feel with said someone. The video is masturbatory and self-exploratory with Cyrus, at one point slipping her hand under the waistband of her underwear, as well as squeezing her own chest for the majority of the video.
Fans of the young singer were treated to teasers leading up to the release via Instagram. One of them was a clip of the underwear/hand portion of the video which blew up on on Perez Hilton and other sights. However, this shouldn’t come as a surprise seeing as the latter half of this year has seen Cyrus humping a foam finger on stage with Robin Thicke, twerking and singing about molly—which is a form of drug, riding a wrecking ball naked and licking hammers.
Will this form of self-expression end in 2014? Probably not. But, for the end of 2013, if you want to get your naked Cyrus fix, you can watch the new video below.
