Miley Cyrus Takes On Led Zeppelin’s Version Of ‘Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You’

Miley Cyrus channels her singing talent into a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You” and offers her thoughts on Elvis.

Miley Cyrus seems to be ever-evolving in her sound these days, from covering ‘Jolene‘ by Dolly Parton to ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds‘ by The Beatles. Her latest cover seems to be even more out there: ‘Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You’ by Led Zeppelin.

The songstress took to her Twitter on Friday with the simple command,

Alright Miley, since you asked so nicely and all. The cover is quite surprising, and obviously just a rough cut of the track, but it shows the singer’s rock side.

Miley has also offered her thoughts on the King, Elvis Presley,

“Elvis, he wasn’t wearing the outfits I was wearing but he was coming out and he was doing like the OG twerking. Like, no one wants to admit that he was twerking, he was. He was like sex. He was a symbol of sex but no one would have ever called Elvis a shit because he wasn’t a girl. It’s that double standard and I think I’m doing something for the double standard.”

If you say so, Miley.

What do you guys think of the cover? Would you want to hear a whole rock album from Miley Cyrus or should she stick to her pop side?
