Miley is quickly becoming synonymous for twerking; a goal she clearly had in mind prior to her now infamous VMA performance last month. She’s nearly sealed the synonymy with her “We Can’t Stop” video which features quite a bit of twerking, followed by her Bieber/Lil Twist duet for the song, “Twerk.”
For anyone still thinking she didn’t know what she was doing and just went crazy; think again. She knew exactly what she was doing. Twerk = Miley, end of story.
“Wrecking Ball,” the second single off her highly anticipated album, Bangerz, is currently number one on iTunes, number 14 (and rising) on Billboard’s Hot 100, and her video for the single which premiered Monday has smashed through Vevo record books as the most viewed video in a 24 hour period.
Wrecking Ball has officially beat the @VEVO record.
