Season 5 will soon be upon us and it looks like we’ll be seeing one of our favourite characters get a new sister.
Well, new to us – presumably they’ve known each other their whole lives.
Dana Powell has been cast as Cam’s sassy sis on the hit ABC comedy, Modern Family. You might remember Dana from Suburgatory, where she played the meddlesome Chatswinite, but TVLine has announced she will be joining the Modern Family cast this upcoming season.
Executive Producer, Christopher Lloyd told TVLine that the show was looking for someone “colorful and believable” to capture the essence of Cam’s midwestern sibling as the pair will develop their “little bit of a competitive relationship” on-screen.

Modern Family returns to our screens this Wednesday, September 25 at 9/8c.
