As a teenager, the day one of your parents gets a Facebook account is mortifying. But for this Salt Lake City teen, his mom might have just saved his life by signing up for Facebook!
While snooping on her son’s Facebook, this mother came across threats on his profile page. The threats, allegedly posted by two male teenagers, 16 and 17, involved shooting her son and even an Instagram of a gun.
The mother contacted police with threats and fear of potential attack on her son. Police officers responded by searching the school and surrounding areas and found the two teens who allegedly made the death threats in a car parked nearby. According to sources, they had a gun, ammo, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a lot of money. The two suspects were arrested.
With the threats being defined as ‘credible,’ this mother probably saved her son. In this instance, her son may just be okay with her snooping. But not for long!
