Cassandra Kubinski is a talented musician from Connecticut, who’s even caught the eye of Billy Joel.
You may have heard her song “Je T’aime,” featured on a few NBC shows. Kubinski has a great voice but an even better attitude. Her lyrics are fresh and unexpected.
She just dropped a new single “Barcode” and it’s great! If you go to her website, she calls the song and video ‘the answer to Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” The song is about objectifying men but in a witty way. The video is fun and simple.
Kubinksi sings about going to the grocery store and finds something else she’s hungry for: “I wanna scan you like a barcode,” she sings as she dances with a few sexy guys. The video is flirty, funny and great. My favorite part of this song is the bridge where Kubinksi’s vocals really shine.
