‘Monster-In-Law’ Moves To The Silver Screen

The classic film, Monster-In-Law, will make its move to the silver screen. Read on for more info, and a look at the original!

You all probably remember Monster-In-Law back from 2005 and if  not, you should. The romantic comedy, starring Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda, went on to become a great success in the box office at the time.  Well, it’s making a comeback! This time around, it’s not returning on the big screen, but on the small one instead! Recently, Fox announced the film will be receiving an adaptation for television.

Monster-In-Law will be turned into a comedy series with half-hour-long episodes. From the looks of things, it won’t be changed much from the original film. Slight changes in the storyline and the cast could turn this into a whole different story, with the same old issues involved. The television show will follow the life of a couple on the way to becoming parents, with a bad relationship between the wife and her mother-in-law making things difficult for the two – soon to be three.

The TV adaptation of Monster-In-Law will be produced by the film’s producers, Chris Bender and JC Spink. The script will be written by Amy B Harris and John Riggi.

Take a look at the trailer for the movie below, to remind you what Monster-In-Law is all about.
