Earlier today we told you that there are numerous sources saying that Glee actress Amber Riley will be joining the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars but it seems she isn’t the only name to be getting some buzz lately.
New reports are saying that former Mary Tyler Moore star Valerie Haper will be joining the cast despite the fact that she’s got terminal cancer.
Who else will be vying for the coveted mirror ball trophy? Son of rock legend Ozzy, Jack Osbourne has been thrown into the mix as well as Leah Remini (who recently made headlines when she left the Church of Scientology), Elizabeth Berkley from the classic teen show Saved By The Bell, and the current social media correspondent for NBC’s The Voice – Christina Milian.
ABC stuck to its guns as usual and wouldn’t confirm the reports, saying: “We don’t comment on casting rumors, but tune in to Good Morning America on Sept. 4 for the official reveal.”
The hit dancing reality competition which is will start it’s 17th season in a few weeks, is switching up it’s format for the first time.
The show will merge performance shows and elimination shows all into one epic night of ballroom dancing on top of adding a new twist to be announced on premiere night.
The next season of Dancing With The Stars premieres September 16th on ABC at 8pm.
