With the return of Penny Dreadful with its second season only a couple of months away, Showtime is going on strong with the promotion of the show. As it seems, the character posters keep on coming, with brand-new ones now unleashed and setting the tone for even more darkness to come.
Last week saw the release of the first couple of posters for the second season of Penny Dreadful, portraying Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway) and Creature (Rory Kinnear). The brand-new ones give us a closer look to the rest of the characters, including Vanessa Ives (Eva Green), Sir Malcolm Murray (Timothy Dalton), Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett), Sembene (Danny Sapani), Hecate Poole (Sarah Greene), Evelyn Poole (Helen McCrory) and Dorian Gray (Reeve Carney). They all might have their own trouble as there’s no rest for the wicked, but they look stunning while doing so. However, a line of blood in all the pictures cannot be ignored.
In the upcoming episodes of Penny Dreadful, the gang of Vanessa, Ethan, Sir Malcolm, Dr. Frankenstein and Sembene keep having their forces joined in order to fight the darkness that surrounds them. The second season will consist of 10 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on May 3, on Showtime. Check out all of the posters below.
