We’ve got three new The Hunger Games: Catching Fire character posters today, and this time they are of some of the participants from the upcoming 75th Annual Hunger Games!
Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), of course, is one of two victors of the 74th Annual Hunger Games, and the subject of The Hunger Games, this film’s prequel.
Johanna Mason (Jena Malone) is the victor of a previous Hunger Games, who was reaped for the third Quarter Quell as the last living victor from her district, District 7, and she’s certainly one to watch out for.
Beetee (Jeffrey Wright is the male tribute from District 3 reaped for the third Quarter Quell. He’s a genius with electronics and wiring, and in his day was a very unexpected winner of the Hunger Games in which he competed first.
You can read a synopsis of the film here:
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will hit cinemas on November 22.
How excited do these portraits make you to see the sequel? Who’s the fiercest looking one, Johanna or Katniss?
