LiveXLive brings Music Lives Ballerfest to Miami for 72 hours of Non-Stop Music and Basketball

From the team that brought you Social Gloves, the boxing event that had YouTube stars competing against TikTokers, comes LiveXLive and Vaunt’s Music Lives Ballerfest.

The 3-day festival is heading directly to Miami, taking over Bayfront Park from November 12 to November 14, for the city’s first-ever basketball, music and pop-culture live event that will have the city of Miami balling out for 72-hours of non-stop Afrobeat, EDM, Hip-Hop, Latin, R&B, and country music from over 150 artists..

The festival will include headlining performances by stars Da Baby, Key Glock, Vintage Culture, Mariah Angeliq, Alvaro Diaz, Nohemy and Tkay Maidza.

“With the success of our influencer boxing event Social Gloves, we knew that we tapped into a new form of pop-culture entertainment,” said Rob Ellin, founder and CEO of LiveOne in an interview with PopWrapped.

“Fans really engaged with this truly unique and entertaining experience of blending the worlds of music, sports, and celebrity. So, when we heard about the FIBA 3×3 tournament, it was a natural fit for us to create something new and make it part of our ongoing Music Lives series.”

As among the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent tragedies including AstroWorld and the infamous Fyre Festival, there are always challenges in getting festivals of this magnitude off the ground. However, Ellin emphasized that safety was the biggest priority this year.

“With the excitement of live events returning, we are still seeing fans a little weary about attending large gatherings, due to COVID-19. For this reason, safety is our number one priority and as a leader in entertainment,  it’s critically important that we provide an amazing experience where fans feel safe.”

Unique to the Miami festival is the showcase of the inaugural FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup, the first 3×3 basketball tournament in America, alongside a celebrity 3×3 basketball game featuring legendary boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather as coach to streetballers and influencers including Bone Collector, White Iverson, Hezi God, and Chris Staples.

In putting on an incredibly diverse festival, LiveXLive believes artist empowerment to be a major driving force in the return of live events and performances.

“We are an artist-focused platform that’s mission is to create amazing experiences for fans, both live and virtually. Our goal is always to help maximize exposure for our artists to their super fans, as well as encourage music discovery.”
