So…since the news that Glee star Naya Rivera would be bringing out an album a few years back, (some) fans have been patiently waiting to hear what the goddess had to offer outside of Glee.
Obviously, the show was the reason she catapulted to fame after her character Santana Lopez quickly became a fan favourite. It was not just because of her quick wit and snarky comments.
There’s a lot more to her than meets the eye; a beautifully complex character with one hell of a voice. Luckily, Rivera can use this fame to share her own music with the world.
Today was the day that fans all over the world had been waiting for, a glimpse of what Naya Rivera can do outside of Glee. Tweeting earlier Rivera said:

I’ve had the teaser on repeat since I first heard it, so I imagine that when the full version is released, it’ll be up there with my most-played songs on iTunes!

Her laugh and then ‘sorry’ is my favourite part by far. We here at PopWrapped cannot wait to see what else Rivera has in store for us.
Topping the Billboard charts would be a step in the right direction, then world domination maybe?
I don’t doubt that she’s capable (after all, she has A LOT of lovely, supportive fans out there!). Naya Rivera for president?
