Have you ever dreamed of writing for a TV show? Night after night you dream of creating something that Hollywood produces. You don’t know what you can do because you are 1,000s of miles away from that special place where all the magic happens.
Well dream no more! NBC studios is launching a contest where entrants will be able to pitch ideas for a new comedy show! And what are the grand prizes? The winning programs will be released as either an online program or aired on the channel itself!
Friends and family members can vote for their favorite pitches (yours right?) online. But it won’t just be a popularity contest. Sean Hayes, Maya Rudolf, and 16 other A-list comedians will be judging your entries.
Granted, there are plenty of other things to consider. You have to make videos to go with the show; you can’t have something on the air already, nor can you be working on a deal for one; you’ll have to be able to fly out to work on your project. Plus, you have to be part of the WGA. That is a lot of requirements! But it’s worth it! You want to make it in this biz, right? This is your chance!
