Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!
Twenty-seven years after the film was released, the long awaited sequel might be underway.
Michael Keaton said in a recent interview that Beetlejuice is definitely a film he wants to do again.
Keaton also recalls that he has been talking to director Tim Burton about making the highly anticipated sequel.
Reports circled around Hollywood that the famous director had been in talks with Warner Brothers to work on a follow-up film.
Winona Ryder, who played Lydia Deetz in the original film, insinuated that she was working on a sequel. Although she didn’t specify what sequel, everyone began to speculate it was Beetlejuice.
“I’m kind of sworn to secrecy,” the actress said.
Ryder says it will not be a remake, but a continuation. She wants to see what her character is doing 27 years later.
