Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat Being Removed From Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat is being removed from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to make room for unannounced additions to the theme park.

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the iconic Sorcerer Hat, long a symbol of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, is being removed early next year.

The blue 122-foot-tall hat has been standing in front of the Chinese Theater since 2001. Disney has been making changes at the movie based theme park lately with the closing of the Backlot Tour and American Idol Experience to make way for unannounced additions.
