Attention Gleeks! It looks like our second favourite cheerleading coach is back!
You guessed it, Coach Roz Washington is set to return! As much as we miss Sue, you have to admit Roz is hysterical, and that actress NeNe Leakes delivers her one-liners perfectly.
DigitalSpy reports that the Real Housewife and prior The New Normal actress will return to the musical dramedy for it’s fifth, and reportedly second to last season.
Leakes will grace our screens in several episodes of the upcoming season. Roz Washington was last seen spearheaded the Cheerios after Sue was let go after taking the fall for Becky’s accident.
Fingers crossed Sue (Jane Lynch) returns as a teacher or something of the sort and utilizes the glee club in an epic plan to regain power of the Cheerios. She can recruit Blaine’s help, since he seems to have a hunch about what really went down during the “Shooting Star” episode. Realistically, we all want the return of Nightbird.
Glee will premiere its fifth season on FOX, September 26. Three episodes will air, two Beatle tribute episodes, and the third a tribute to the late Cory Monteith. The series will then go on an extended hiatus.
