Though it is only 2014, rumors are already circulating on who will run for the White House in 2016. One possible candidate? Ben Carson. Carson is a well known conservative activist and former neurosurgeon from Johns Hopkins.
Today, during an appearance on The Hugh Hewitt Show, Carson had this to say about his chances of running for President:
“Unless the American people indicate in November that they like Big Government intervention in every part of their lives, I think the likelihood is strong,”
Though Carson said he will not make his decision immediately, he will know by May if he will run for sure.
This could be a candidate the GOP will want as they have issues bringing in black voters. As a black man, Carson could be someone the party would want on their side.
