On a webpage in a galaxy not so far away, the complete cast list for Star Wars: Episode VII has finally been released! Rumors have been flying for months now about who is in the movie! Well, it’s time to put the rumors to rest!
Original members of the Star Wars movies–Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker–are returning for the newest installment. Joining the Star Wars vets are John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.
J.J. Abrams, director of the newest franchise movie, shared his thoughts on the cast: “We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud.”
My only question is: where are the females in this film? I’m pretty sure that ladies can kick butt in a galaxy far far away! Here’s to hoping this set gets some more estrogen! What do you think of the cast announcement? Was one of your favorite actors/actresses left off? Let us know!
