Since Drake left a restaurant with The Weeknd’s ex (née Bella Hadid), the rumors have started. 

The “One Dance” crooner and the model went to The Nice Guy, an upscale eatery, to kick-start their week. They arrived separately in the early hours of the morning and left through separate exits. However, the pair got into “Drake’s SUV vehicle” before leaving the scene for an unknown location. Maybe the 30-year-old multi-millionaire and 20-year-old beauty went back to his crib? With The Weeknd toting his new girlfriend, Selena Gomez, across the globe, no wonder Hadid linked up with her ex’s friend.

Trouble may be in paradise (no, not Bachelor in Paradise).

Before Drake and The Weeknd made amends this year by shooting the “Reminder” music video, they were low-key sending shots at each other. After all, when The Weeknd chose to stay unsigned, he didn’t sign on Drake’s dotted line. Bad blood spilled as a result. They were no longer family; they were competitors. However, instead of making their rift inclusive, people took sides.

In 2012, one of Drake’s friends tweeted his support for only OVO, and not OVOXO, a term coined by the two singer-songwriters. However, in 2015, The Weeknd’s “Low Life” shared the same sentiment. “F— a n—- cosign,” he harmonizes. Drake soon retaliated with his own jabs. Their petty quarrel, which lasted for a few years, seemingly ended when Drake made a cameo appearance in The Weeknd’s “Reminder.”

However, now that Drake’s possibly dating his former foe’s first love, their relationship’s back to rocky. The Weeknd’s too busy performing and touring and has Gomez by his side, so he may not care. Then again, his first love’s dating Drake. While he’s a ham to every other man, he’s the Canadian bacon of every woman’s dreams. They all want a bite, including Hadid. The Weeknd’s blood just drained from his face.
