While trips to the cinema might be on hold for a while, on demand services have in the past few months provided much needed down time and entertainment for individuals and families around the world and now these services are offering up another slice of thrilling sci-fi enjoyment in the form of Invasion Earth, which drops on August 4.

Already hailed as being “indie sci-fi at its best” by Sc-Fi Today and a film that “will keep your attention the entire time” by RepulsiveReviews.com, Invasion Earth follows a group of addicts who attend therapy to avoid being sent to prison, while a TV journalist goes undercover and joins the group to try and expose this as a scam. However, all of their lives are thrown into chaos by the beginning of an alien invasion.

The film stars Charlotte Gould, Phoebe Delikoura, Tony Fadil, Jon-Paul Gates, Nigel Thijs, and David Shaw and was directed James Twyman.
