Last night’s episode of New Girl was the perfect mix of crazy and quirky, just like we like it.
Jess met her dads new girlfriend, WHO SHE WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH.
Who is also a sex addict, side note.
Jess then tries to break them up, thinking that the girlfriend is absolutely terrible for her father. Although, to be fair, it did seem like she was cheating on him!
On the other hand, the boys scream about sponges, and because of Nick, Schmidt is able to close on a deal at work, using Nick’s nasty habit as a selling point.
Also, Nick was getting cozy with a girl, so maybe he and Jess really are moving on, as much as I don’t want that to happen! Or maybe the writers are messing with us and they get back together later on in the season.
Oh yeah, and Jess got hit by a cyclist and had to go to the hospital, but it’s okay because after she was hit she helped her dad propose.
So, fellow New Girl lovers, be prepared for a wedding mixed with the two worst things: family and the people you went to high school with.
