Despite already getting a fun teaser trailer in late October, a new Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 teaser has just arrived, and it is so much better. I don’t know what we as humans did to deserve Baby Groot, but I love him.
This movie looks to be just as funny as the first one, which is great because the silliness of GOTG is what really set it apart from the other Marvel movies. The movie is set to come out May 5th 2017, so we still have time for the full trailer, but right now enjoy this new teaser.

I love how somehow they got a little jacket for Groot. Also, Baby Groot’s voice is not what I expected, but it definitely fits well. He’ll definitely be a scene stealer, but it’s okay because he already stole all our hearts, right?
I also loved the end scene. The moment Drax burst into laughter was the same time I did. I can’t wait to see that scene in full!
Neither of the two teaser trailers reveal much of a plot — I guess they’re saving that for the full trailer — so it’s hard to tell what’s going on story-wise. That quick clip of Drax jumping into attack against that cool-looking beast with the teeth means that there will at least be some fun fight scenes. And there will hopefully be some lead up into Infinity Wars, where these space guardians will join Earth’s heroes for what is surely to be an epic team-up.
While the first teaser trailer reused one of the more iconic songs, this teaser also gave us a first taste of the sweet music that’ll be on the much-anticipated soundtrack. I am definitely looking forward to hearing more.
