The Twentieth Century Fox classic Anastasia is making its way to Broadway! Finally, the complete casting has been announced for the musical adaptation.
Anastasia tells the story of Anya and her journey to find where she belongs. Along the way, she meets a con-man who helps her, and they embark on an adventure to find out who Anya really is.
The Broadway company will feature Christy Altomare as Anya, Derek Klena as con-man Dmitry, John Bolton as Dmitry’s right hand man Vlad, Caroline O’Connor as Lily, Ramin Karimloo as Gleb, and Mary Beth Piel as Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna.
Additional casting includes: Zach Adkins, Sissy Bell, Lauren Blackman, Kathryn Boswell, Kyle Brown, Kristen Smith Davis, Janet Dickinson, Constantine Germanacos, Wes Hart, Ian Knauer, Ken Krungman, Dustin Layton, Shina Ann Morris, James A. Pierce III, Molly Rushing, Nicole Scimeca, Jennifer Smith, Johnny Stellard and Allison Walsh.
The production features a score by Tony Award Winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. A new book was written by Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, and it will be directed by Darko Tresnjack (who won a Tony for his time directing A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder).

Lead producers on the production are Bill Taylor (Sister Act, Rocky), Tom Kirdahy (It’s Only A Play, The Visit)and Hunter Arnold (Kinky Boots, Spring Awakening).
