New Politics Has A Girl Crush

New Politics is releasing their third album, Vikings, on August 14th and so far we have three songs to sample.  “Everywhere I Go”, “West End Kids” and the most recent, “Girl Crush”, are the new tracks and they’re all great!  You may recognize these guys from their hit last summer with “Harlem“ which was prominent in Taco Bell’s commercials and a hot track on the radio.  I saw these guys open for Kings of Leon when they were just becoming big.  They’re from Denmark.  Lead singer David Boyd and Soren Hansen put on one hell of a show!  If you haven’t seen these guys live you need to make it a priority.  They sound good on their records but live is life changing.   I’ve met them three times and they’re always awesome including singing me “Happy Birthday” two years ago.

Their new hit “Girl Crush” is hot!  It’s got a sick beat with fun lyrics like all of their songs.  If it’s not stuck in your head immediately I’d be shocked.  It was built for summer, as all of their opening tracks tend to be.  Once you’re done relishing in the greatness of the new song, hit up Apple Music and listen to everything!  You won’t be disappointed!  They’re on tour so check them out if their in your city!
