TVLine have revealed an exclusive spoiler video for the upcoming new series, The Tomorrow People.
The new sci-fi series is based on the popular British children’s show of the same name, which originally aired in 1973 and ran until 1979.
Possessing the powers of teleportation, telepathy and telekinesis, The Tomorrow People tells the story of a generation of young people born with paranormal abilities as the result of human evolution.
The series begins with Stephen Jameson (Robbie Amell in 1600 Penn) discovering he is one of the Tomorrow People when he begins hearing voices and teleporting in his sleep. Stephen decides to listen to one of the voices in his head and it leads him to his first encounter with others sharing his paranormal abilities.
The Tomorrow People are being hunted down by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra, led by Dr. Jedikiah Price (Revolution’s Mark Pellegrino) who believes the Tomorrow People are a very real existential threat from a rival species.
Also starring in The Tomorrow People is Australian actor Luke Mitchell (H2O: Just Add Water) as John Young, Aaron Yoo (The Bedford Diaries) as Russell Kwon, Peyton List (Flash Forward) as Cara Coburn and Jason Dohring (Ringer) as Killian McCrane.

The Tomorrow People premieres on The CW, Wednesday October 9 at 9/8c.
