Dorothy might’ve gone back to Kansas but that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t take a trip back to Oz.
In “Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return,” Dorothy (Lea Michele), joined by her friends the Scarecrow (Dan Aykroyd), the Cowardly Lion (Jim Belushi), the Tin Man (Kelsey Grammer), and Glinda (Bernadette Peters), face a new villain named the Jester (Martin Short) who is wrecking havoc in Oz.
The movie is based on Roger Stanton Baum’s 1989 novel Dorothy of Oz and is a 3-D animated musical. The original author of The Wizard of Oz, L. Frank Baum, was his great-grandfather.
While the film isn’t due to be released until May 9th, these new stills give us our first glimpse into the wonderful land of Oz until then.
