With less than a month till the second film in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy, The Desolation of Smaug, the publicity drive is in full force. This is evident in the release today of a new TV spot for the film.
The 31-second clip perfectly captures the action, adventure and anticipation associated with the film. Featuring glimpses of all your favourite characters, including Benedict Cumberbatch’s Smaug, Bilbo Baggins, Legolas and Gandalf, it sets the scene for the darker, more edgier sequel to last year’s An Unexpected Journey.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits cinemas December 13, though the poor folk in Australia have to wait till Boxing Day.
