Boy band duo Nick Carter of the Backstreets Boys and Jordan Knight of the New Kids on the Block dropped by Good Morning America to perform their new single, “One More Time,” off their new collaboration album, Nick and Knight, which was released last Tuesday (Sept. 2)
“We performed a lot onstage together, and we seemed to have a chemistry,” Jordan Knight said of Nick Carter on GMA “We both love doing music. At first, we just thought about doing a tour. He’d do solo music, and I’d do solo music. We kept talking about it and we said, ‘it might be a treat for the fans and a twist to do a whole album together’.”
On the album, Nick Carter said, “It’s fresh. You can dance to it. We think the fans are gonna love it.”
The duo is set to go on a North American tour together. They have done so previously as members of super group NKOTBSB, which is a combination of their own respective boy bands. The tour will kick off on Sept 15 at Nashville’s Cannery ballroom and will wrap up at Calgary, Canada on Nov. 22. The full list of the venues and dates are available on their website.
