Jonas Brothers fans come out, come out wherever you are! The youngest of the trio has just dropped a solo song and we’ve already got it on repeat!
Nick Jonas, who recently signed with Island Records, has just released his first effort as a solo artist since the Jonas Brothers split back in October, with a song called “Chains.”
The song has a mature vibe –very different than anything we’ve heard from him in the past. The song, with lyrics like, “Gave you my heart, but you took my soul, you got me in chains, you got me in chains for your love,” is about “being trapped in a love that is kind of doomed” says Jonas. Perhaps a dig at his Disney past?
Page Six reports that the single will be paired a “racy video starring Dylan Penn” aimed at ridding Jonas of his “squeaky clean” image. A source says, “He’s done apologizing for everything and trying to be perfect. He’s just going to be himself; if people like him, great, if not, he’s done giving a s – – t.”
