Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson have not seen one another for about six years, after the former Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica costars divorced back in 2006 Lachey had told Watch What Happens: Live back in May. Though that doesn’t mean that Lachey doesn’t wish the best for Jessica with the birth of her new son Ace Knute Johnson who was born on June 30.
When Lachey was asked if he had talked to Simpson while in NYC attending the E! News launch of Wendy’s #PretzelLoveSong campaign. “Nope, no. We’re not in touch.” He also told them that he does hope that all is well with Jessica. Also that he hopes that she would think on the same on her end. Lachey has also said on his Bravo show that his marriage with Jessica was a lifetime ago and that they don’t sit around the house watching old DVDs as a family.
Even though Lachey and Simpson don’t talk anymore it is nice to see that they do wish well to one another in the life they are living now and not broken about what happened in the past.
